Sgraffito* workshop

Location: The Classroom, Bowhouse, Saint Monans, East Neuk of Fife, Scotland KY10 2DB
Cost: £115 for the day, tuition, lunch, drinks, materials, bisque and glaze firings.

Join me for a one-day creative retreat in the stunning East Neuk, where you'll learn the art of scraffito, on clay.
You will create a ceramic tile and a trinket dish that can be picked up (or posted) after.

*Sgraffito is a decorative technique used in pottery, where a layer of coloured clay slip is carved away to reveal the bare clay beneath. The word sgraffito comes from the Italian word 'to scratch'.
Gelli Plate* workshop

Cost: £115 for the day, tuition, lunch, drinks, materials, papers, use of gel plates, rollers, inks, paints, inspiration materials and cards.

Join me for a one-day creative retreat in the stunning East Neuk, where you'll learn the art of collage and printing, using a gelli plate.
You will create unique prints using collage, drawing and relief printing with water based inks.

*Gelli plates are flexible, gel-like printing surfaces, that enable artists to create monoprints (unique, one-of-a-kind prints).
